Simme Valley
is owned and
operated by Jeanne White.
We have been breeding Simmental cattle since 1972 using 100%
artificial insemination for most years.
We strive to produce stylish, predictable females that work for us
and our customers, both in and out of the show ring. Structurally
sound, easy keeping cattle have been of utmost importance to us, and
it shows in our herd.
Personal:
Jeanne is Secretary of NYSA, and
co-editor of the NYSA newsletter and directory for most of the past
32 years. We are very
active in showing our cattle at local, state, regional and some
national fairs. We stay involved with the youth programs in our
state and Jeanne was an Advisor for the NY Junior Beef Producers
Assn. Currently sponsoring a family of 3 siblings, Annika
Donlick, Elsie Donlick and Eli Donlick.
Jeanne is full time on the farm. Her nephew Philip Paradis is
full time as Manager. Phil is also a dealer for BioZyme (See
SV Feed info link). Our farm is located on the
South edge of Cayuga County, in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region.
We acquired another 58 acre farm adjoining our 100 acre
farm, and we lease 50 acres across the road.
